Governance and Oversight
The independent News Council of Victoria is governed by a volunteer committee appointed in accordance with its approved rules.
The committee is responsible for ensuring the Council operates transparently, independently and in line with its stated purpose.

Decisions are made collectively, with each committee member holding one equal vote.
